Keep an eye out for the Li'l Club website!

The Li’l Club offshoot The Li’l Safety Club provides an avenue to directly engage 6 to 12 year old children with themes of personal and community safety as well issues of social and environmental importance.

The Li’l Safety Club offers organizations the opportunity to promote their own area through licensed Li’l Larikkins community service campaigns. These campaigns use characters from the Li’l Larikkins animated series to deliver focused messages to kids and their communities through short, entertaining stories and activities. Their interactivity and online accessibility is designed to encourage open dialogue between parents and children on important issues. Along with the ongoing input of each campaign-specific community organization, all Li’l Safety Club content is produced in consultation with and approved by psychologists specializing in child development.

The Li’l Safety Club’s first campaign sees Ettamogah Entertainment partner with the Australasian Fire and Emergency Services Authority Council (AFAC), the peak body for fire and emergency services agencies in Australia and New Zealand. Its member agencies are responsible for the provision of fire and emergency services throughout the region.

This first Li’l Safety Club series focuses on AFAC’s message of bushfire preparedness.  In the ten short online animations, the Li’l Larikkins gang sport Fire and Emergency Services jackets and help the young audience to better understand fire and natural hazards. Through these stories, children are introduced to these important concepts and provided with small actions, appropriate to their age, that they can do or discuss with their parents or other adults.
